I used to bet on horse races, but my feelings about horse racing changed when I learned about all the steroids and injuries and deaths. Thereâ€™s nothing â€œsportingâ€�?about a pastime in which animals routinely suffer and die.

It’s time horse racing was stopped entirely. Too many horses have suffered, have been drugged, have been forced to run, and have died in misery.

The horse racing industry is built on exploiting these gentle, intelligent animals. They are forced to run, drugged, whipped, and often sold to slaughter when their “usefulness” is done. It would certainly not be sad for horses if this industry disappeared.
